Mike, I wonder if you have read their S-1 filing or understand their business and product. Is it readily available to the mass public? Cost is huge! Internet at least is readily and infrastructure is there to support it. Their refrigerator size product or so called hydrogen bomb by Yahoo poster is not so safe. It needs gas to run. Right now it receives revenue from goverment contracts. They're looking for distributors. They're still in prototype and development phase. Too early for mass market adoption. Right now you're paying for the 10-year down the line price. Oh I forgot, wait for 5/1 week and you will get it cheaper with the dumping of 28M shares.

PLUG is several years away from getting their products in use, they'll have to fight thru bureaucratic red tape, especially considering how highly regulated utilities. Its just not a great gamble, this is still in the developmental stages, no approval by any government commission, and it does not guarantee any savings over current electricity costs. In addition, it is powered by natural gas which is more expensive than pure electric power except during heating processes such as heating water. Plus, the cost of the unit itself will involve a high fixed cost, adding to the extra expense. Also, the hassle of refueling every few months is also another blow to this technology.

I needed a good laugh for today thanks...

regardless of what they do a stock that runs up that much has to come down...especially if their product is a few years away from reality. PLUG short of the week IMO....ISLD is a close second.
