The volatility may be the same (I doubt it, with BB stocks being completely illiquid, mostly, and have huge spreads), but the difference is legitimacy. NYSE TSE and NASDAQ stocks have more complete/serious rules about their accounting reports to the SEC (or the canadian SEC).

Hey, if the TSE is good enough for Nortel Networks ... it's good enough for me. I will never invest in an OTCBB stock. They are hyper-volatile and usually full of crap. How many times have you seen companies on the OTCBB call themselves the next MSFT, CSCO, DELL, etc. I've seen it practically everyday. This type of super-hype makes it too time consuming to do any due diligence. Better and safer opportunities can be found on the mainstream exchanges. IMHO.
