Amazing that the strongest proponent of the American way of life, i.e. pursuit of happiness has been pilloried in public by so many professional assassins starting with William F. Buckley. She did quite well for an immigrant Russian. Here in Canada there is a movement to teach college courses on her writing and philosophy. The professors that go into orgasmic swoons at the mention of the name Margaret Attwood scream fascist when Ayn Rand is mentioned. Alan Greenspan and Ayn Rand were close personal friends. I suspect she was more influential than anybody yet realizes. average joe
