He demands Elians' return to Cuba.

And you would deprive Elian of his father based on the fact that he (the father) was born in a country that has politics and a politcal leader that you don't like.

My argument is simple, I would not do something to someone else, that I would not want done to me. Again simple and doesn't involve politics. If you tried to deprive me and my son of our natural relationship, I would react appropriately, no matter how convince you were that you had the one true belief system. It is simply not your right, nor the right of the U.S. Government, nor Elian's relatives, nor the Cuban Government, nor mine, to dictate that Elian and his Father cannot have a relationship.
