John: I meant that the DOJ would seek to delay W2K, because the integrated browser is part of the lawsuit. I read/heard this recently and thought that may be part of the reason for relative weakness lately. Personally, I don't think it'll happen.

What if DOJ did not want to settle in the next two years? Does that mean Microsoft will not release Win2k till 2003 ? I think the release of Win2k is a pure market decision. However the short is free to start the rumor !!!!
