More on IE/Outlook Express...

A large number of ActiveX controls have made it into the "wild" that pose security risks to users. These controls can be used by the "bad guys" to create malicious Web pages and Email messages to run programs or steal private information from your PC when using Internet Explorer, Outlook, or Outlook Express.

BTW, picked up BlackICE and am feeling much more secure
online with my cable modem. The amount of trojan and port
probes that go on behind the scenes are simply amazing.

Mr. Mark,

One of the main reasons I switched to MS Internet Explorer was that Netscape was really bad about crashing on me. I usually open about 10 browser windows at a time, so when they all went down at once because of some error, it was a bit frustrating. MS Explorer seems to be more stable than Netscape (so far), and it also appears to load sites faster.

It is a bit strange to have to load Outlook Express so that it will tell you if you have mail. That's a convenience that Netscape had that I really miss.
