Confusion still exists for me here. Does TiVo's ERP (erase/record/play) technology (for recording/stopping/playing TV or Web transmission content) incorporate an IPG and/or EPG? It incorporates an EPG, I heard they download it once a day or something like that. Don't know if it has an IPG, but that can't be far behind. If so, how does that IPG and/or EPG square with Gemstar's patented space? Good question. I think NYStew said they might have copyright problems with GMST. This might be forming up as a battle royale.
