Couldnt agree with you more. I still have vivid memories of SAWS at 9 a share and Q at 38 OCT 98. It was no fun, and if people think that last pullback was vicious have no clue. I remember waking every mourning and coursing at the S&P futures down 25 for like 10 straight days!!! I remember a certain poster on Yahoo who is a friend of mine couldnt take it and just sold everything(I knew that was the bottom). He now has 18 mill won in Q gains and still is to greedy to take a profit. In my opinion those who fail to learn from their mistakes are doomed to repeat them. I baisicly stoped buying Q on margin at 150 pre 4-1 and stoped speculating on options(I buy 10 here and there but not like I did before). In many ways I have made less then others who still speculate, But I am in for the very long haul and have lerned from my mistakes. 1)DONT SELL BECAUSE OF VALUATION(I did so with SUNW 25, CNXT 55, ANd UNPH(ARGGGGGG)) 2) prepare for the worst and hope for the best. I assume Q could drop below 100 or go to 400 I do not assume anything. I am freitened shitless by all this speculating and nitwits with $$$ to invest. In my opinion we are within 20% of a market peak. I also think that it is irrelevaent beacause when we correct we will rebound within a year anyway. SO I am ready!!!!
