hmmm, thinking back, I saw Cream at Madison Square Garden, '69. On a more direct parallel, I almost got lost walking 2 blocks from my car to the Labor Temple (in MPLS) going to an Allman Brothers concert. I was really going to see the lead-in act, John Hammond Jr, but was I surprised to see the main show!
