Eugene. Yes, I still think pre split. Now, let me mention too, that Sprint PCS has had a blow out Dec selling all kinds of phones including Q's. We project a 50% growth rate (10.6% per quarter)of earnings, but let me mention that Dr. J did say that CDMA phone sales could grow as much as 70% in year 2000. All this means simply ($0.27 + $0.4) x 1.106 with the possibility of nice supprises going forward, the probability of pro forma's showing one time charges depending on GAP rules and work-out costs. I do not approach earnings with any fear at all. Everyone surely realizes this is a company in transition to a high margin powerhouse.

The key issue is whether the mighty Q can reinvest those magnificent earnings so that they compound at 50%/year. If they do this, this is a $1000/4 stock today--not a $600/4 stock. I am sure this last factor is the key question, but the unanswerable question on the minds of analysts.

They kept all those design engineers with their stock options and, by God, they may just put internet CDMA in places you never dreamed of.
