steve, We are starting to approach the order time for the slow summer season on many parts. Any bad estimates here can kill the year for Dell, GTW, AMD, Inhel, etc.
We have a potential summer slugfest approaching, with the P-III and athlons going deep down in price.
The entry of the Via chipset into this fracas with 133 FSB should make the Celeron fall quite a bit as they both fight for the 370 pin socket space. The AMD parts may get shown the door unless they have a lower cost socketed model to sell? That slot pack costs $20+ than a PGA socket, esp a plastic one. I wonder if an Athlon can survive the trapped heat in a plastic package>
