Edwarda, when are you headed off? I'm sure you'll have a great time. We just sent a young couple last week. Is any of your trip on Air NZ? -- one of my personal favorites.

Not sure I was here for other discussion of Africa trip. I have a friendly acquaintance who goes to S. Africa every year. He pays a bundle for a straight ticket.

Most anything south of Med. destinations is beyond the budget circuit. The flag carrier of Romania used to have an unbelievably cheap deal to Cairo, if you departed from Chicago and spent a night in Bucharest.
