January 15, 2000 (Baton Rouge, LA) - VedaLabs, Inc. announces the release of AudioVeda 3.0, the world's only ePAC player/encoder/jukebox. The AudioVeda Player/Encoder/Jukebox uses Lucent Technologies' (NYSE: LU) ePAC file format to compress Internet music at a rate of 11 to 1, delivering the highest quality Internet music in the industry. "We have continued with our quest in providing the internet community with the best possible product for music over the web. At this point in time we are at least six months ahead of our competition. We have even more advances planned for our software." says VedaLabs President, Jason Hewitt. A free version of the AudioVeda Player/Encoder/Jukebox can be downloaded at audioveda.com. A more robust version can also be purchased for $19.95, a discount from the $29.95 retail price. "We will continue to provide a free version of our software and will only charge for the upgrade."
