I used to wish that kind of thing would happen.....back when I was loaded down with worthless puts and looking for the next "perfect short" (of course all of those soon became worthless too) . Then I began to think about the err of my ways.....about the need by the entire government to protect the US economy.....about the billions of dollars that have been sitting in safety just prior to Y2K .........about the loonies that keep running a new stock up each and every day and the poor souls with a strong faith in that company that keep holding enough of that stock to support the price at incredible levels.....and mostly, about the fact that my long positions have netted a positive return this year and my short positions have netted me a negative. Get long , Bill. Buy a couple HHH and QQQ puts for a hedge....maybe even a DIA or two for a hedge on your positions. Keep the stops reasonably close and it we actually DO have the big one, you'll get stopped out and the puts will make up your losses plus some.

You have been doing well with your projections , from what I read in your posts, but it also seems that someone that just went long one or two months ago the QQQ or HHH or SPY or DIA...or almost any tech stock, they would have far outdone anyone on this thread....except GZ.
