For the record, IDC cannot and will not EVER "make" anything. They have never made a product and brought it to market at consumer or high volume levels. They have alot of TALK and no follow through.

Their TDMA system was actually worked out for htem by Irwin and his same CDMA engineers before QCOM got started. IDC has been riding this coattail ever since.

IDC is "giving" the japanese ideas, but not finished chipsets and finished equipment fuly worked out (i.e. putting their money where their mouth is...). They can say how it is supposed to work, but then it take another 5-6 years to get it working and into real equipment from there. So just what do you think QCOM will be actually delivering by that time?
