Warrick gave up NFL riches a year ago to come back to Florida State and win a national championship and Weinke said Monday he's coming back with an eye on winning two straight titles. "I'd like to come back and try to win another national championship," said Weinke, who threw four touchdown passes in Florida State's 46-29 victory over Virginia Tech in the national championship game. In what he described "a no-lose situation," Weinke surprised his parents, brother and position coach with a decision to return. "They said, 'you're leaving. 'I said, 'you're wrong.' No one was right. I hope I am." Weinke, who will be 28 when the 1999 season begins, said he was told by NFL scouts that he would be a third-round pick at best in the April draft. << The NFL has obviously told him what we all know....He sucks -g-
