Yes, PIII's are great right now up to 500Mhz and expensive.

The k6-2's from 433 to 475 are holding their own and growing.

With k6-2+ and 0.18 they should have a pretty good interim laptop line. With clock speeds in 500-550 range they will not be top performance.

However Intel has to limit celeron clock speeds so as not to degrade high end.

I see AMD have a real good portion of sub 2K laptop market.

And when Athlon mobiles show up the higher end Coppermine laptops will be dead.
