If Albert can not buy in the premarket then either he does not do much trading or the company he goes through may not have the best system. In either case, orders will be stacked up like an IPO. As people wake up, they will pull orders to sell. The big houses will hold onto their inventory. The little guy could end up getting shares but getting them at the high.

To each his own, but a market order at the open in a situation like this is not a sure thing.
