This was what I was trying to point out --- that the Promatory acquisition is important beyond the US/Canada market because in the rest of the world, the phone line still rules as far as the ONLY physical wiring into homes and businesses. So for long time to come, the only way to deliver bandwidth is to use copper wire and NT will be right there to deliver the DSL technology which likely will corner 80%+ of the overseas countries broadband market (including lucrative markets like Western Europe).
