JDN, the network reconfigurations and additions that would be necessary to implement a last mile fix for AOL over black coax will be large for multiple players wares. It remains to be seen what their engineers cook up in the way of an architecture, a la ATHM's intranet-like isolated network.

I don't know, or particular focus on as a general rule, whose specific wares they are ordinarily as long as they meet generic requirements, but if someone is in there already, they've got a leg up on the action, logic would say. However, I don't know what that would actually mean in terms of overall market share for any one of them. Maybe some others here would like to comment on this.
