This Wells announcement is strangely short and offers no elaboration. I am curious if this is an extension of services that they need for parts of their operation (some states, some of their bank parts, some services, etc.). It would seem they would mention 3 or more years, or all of ... or? if this was a rebonding of the two companies. Could Wells still be on a plan to decrease or eliminate Checkfree from their lives and this is the amount of the deal extension they think they need to bridge the progress gap? Call me paranoid, I just don't read enough good fluff in the release.
