This deal has to make you wonder what the next deal will be.

DIS, mentioned ~27 in November, even more interesting 30% higher. AOL/TWX is the kind of deal that turns corporate executives into panicked sheep. "We've got to BAAAAAAAAuy something NOW!"

Follow-up: NT back over par: best price during market hours was, as usual, on an acquisition day (already pulled a profitoften on 1/3 position). CUBE rocking again: if you like HLIT... BBY/CC need to break out of their broad ranges, looks like they're giving it the old college try today.

On the broker front: TD Waterhouse continues to shed the pretense of resembling a real-time on-line broker ("Yes, we know you can't see your orders, deal with it, you dolts!").
