PB - There has been a suspicion that Dan has some "useful" sources because his numeric predictions for Intel (those he produces near the announcement dates) are so accurate that they are "too" good. His numbers are trustworthy although his judgements are often off the wall. So if Dan has upgraded Intel at this instant, the numbers are probably quite good. Of course, this cannot be, according to my friends on the AMD thread, since, in their alternate universe, there are no sales recorded anywhere of any Intel microprocessors. And of course, Ali knows that all these earnings numbers are bogus anyway, due to failure to account for stock purchase buybacks. But if the Dan upgrade is true (haven't seen it on the wires) that is good news.
