Brian - Re: "I was not blaming anyone, merely asking what you thought of current INTC mgt vs Grove. "

Barrett has had many successes - and a few failures.

Grove had many, many successes - and quite a few failures as well.

Grove was instrumental in pulling, pushing, dragging and shoving Intel into the forefront of technology.

Barrett was instrumental in making Grove's ambition work - bootstrapping Intel's wafer fab technology from one of chaos to one of world leadership.

Now Barrett is in charge - maybe you should compare his track record to his "peer" group - Jerry Sanders, Eckhard Pfeiffer, Ted Waite, John Chambers, Lewis Platt, etc.

I'd say Barrett stacks up pretty well with all of them.
