And AOL will be forced to offer the use of its cable properties, of course! If not, I personally will join Ralph Nader in this cause (g).

AOL has created market value by fiat, but trying to create
$120billion over the weekend just won't pan out.
On friday the combined market value was $240, trying
to pump that to $360 will require more effort.

It is, however, highly amusing that AOL has gotten this far.

<<It's the cable system and the clout AOL/TWX will have...
>>

Clout, is a severe understatement. I can't even begin to think how huge this new company will be.

In any event, let folks sell...I could care less. What I find ironic is that had we annouced a deal with athm the price would have shot up like a rocket....it would have been perceived as being exactly what aol needed....a broadband deal. Yet here we are, with an actual buyout of Time Warner, which is simply agoliath of a deal. The implications are enormous. Think about the society we live in, where the internet and other related technologies are taking us, and then think about this new company.......Absolutely awesome. Let the street think what they want......
