From fundamentals, I am looking for Windows 2000 theme to evolve. Lots of high end work stations / PCs with 128MEG minimum, shipping end Feb means vendors must assure DRAM supplies in advance. I am hoping MU has locked in solid prices for contracts.

Absense of knowledge or of analyst comments/support (would love to hear Niles say something positive) may well support your short term selloff hypothesis.

John,

Thank you very much for your post. The time you take to share your analysis and insights is very much appreciated, even if we don't mention it each time.

I've got a small additional allocation today to my MU trading capital. I can't decide for the life of me what to do with it. I'm almost tempted to put it on another stock because I truly can't fathom MU at the moment.

Maybe no one else can either and that's why the volume is so low?

If I had to decide, I would go short for the pre-expiry dip. But I agree the surging indexes and the flat line is a powerful disincentive to doing so.
