Well, while we're at it, around Nov. I warned a few curious about the next Q(?). It was trading at 44. It is now 230's, and isn't done yet. CRA is the name, and wondering if anyone did buy it. Just curious. Too bad I sold half last week to buy JDSU and more Q. Oh well, that's the breaks.

Q rocks, just a matter of time...

OT Thread, here is some stocks that I find interesting. BLDP--Fuel cells

Sniff, sniff. I traded in 5000 shares of BLD in June for JDSU. Don't regret it but it pained me greatly as I had been accumulating BLD since it was under $5. It'll be as big as the Q in a few years IMHO. Well, almost.

I attended the CES Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas over the weekend with 90,000 other rabid buyers & sellers. Of course the largest attraction in the basement was...you guessed it...the Adult Video Pavillion ...

Made a satellite call to LA on the new Globalstar/Qualcomm phone. Crystal clear but had to use a phone connected to an antenna...must use line of sight or next to a window. Nice exibition with Qualcomm name at the top.
They have a First Call Promotion Program (includes calls made anywhere in USA..long distance charges will apply for International calls?) runs through Feb. 15th, 2000. $14.99/ month fee
Regular monthly fee after that starts at $29.99/ month with additional minutes $1.69 (bundle minutes 0) to $369/ monthly fee with $1.39 for additional minutes (includes 250 bundled minutes of satellite calls and voicemail.
Said they have about 40,000 out for the Beta. They have a Satellite Payphone designed for Harsh environments and for remote and rural areas....using coin, smart, pre-paid and credit card options.

The Qualcomm Booth was average size for this show...displaying all the phones...I liked the dual phone/Palm Pilot style. (Panasonic was by far the largest exhibit that went on forever and cost muti-millions)

Nokia had the most action of any wireless group...could hardly get to the phones to observe....CDMA will be huge with this group!

Pamela Anderson got more attention in her leather pants than probably Bill Gates...I don't remember what company or product she was promoting.

Remember...SEX and WIRELESS SELLS! What a city Vegas and what a GREAT country!
