The local PTT would have the first shot at the DSL market but regardless, the markets are being pried open by political pressures and NT hopefully will provide the DSL modem technology to all those PTT's and Carriers who will be competing for the last-mile holy grail.

Big bucks in this DSL market --- lot bigger than what most people understand! Which is exactly why NT has spent lot of R&D developing their own 1 MB DSL technology and has now spend a billion to stay ahead of the curve.

Confirms to me that Roth & Company KNOW what they are doing.

It is amazing to hear how much you guys are spending to access the internet. No wonder the telcos are salivating ! The key is relenting on entry of these companies, which is a political decision. Wish you luck.
