Hi, Robert. The Devil's Advocate is back <gg>. I applaud the intensive overview you and the Cree gang are affording us of this fine young company. The technology seems impressive, and your projections are tempting, but we all agree they haven't crossed the Chasm yet. That is a key event for dedicated Gorilla gamers, as highlighted in the following quote from Goeff Moore in his book, Crossing The Chasm:

To be specific, the point of greatest peril in the development of a high-tech market lies in making the transition from an early market dominated by a few visionary customers to a mainstream market dominated by a large block of customers who are predominantly pragmatists in orientation. The gap between these two markets, heretofore ignored, is in fact so significant as to warrant being called a chasm and crossing this chasm must be the primary focus of any long-term high-tech marketing plan. A successful crossing is how high-tech fortunes are made; failure in the attempt is how they are lost.

The essence of Gorilla gaming is to minimize the risk/reward ratio, and that doesn't happen until the candidate's product has crossed the Chasm, exited the Bowling Alley, and entered the Tornado. Until those critical events occur I will be content to watch you guys make tons of money; afterwards I may join you. If they are destined to become a Gorilla, there is no rush.

btw, Squire Hawk pointed out that cree is about to issue a dilutive secondary. That is an event that would make most veteran investors quake. I admire your resolution.
