Well Scott and others, it looks like Novell has formally responded to the MSFT FUD article on its Web Site. Following is NOVL's rebuttal to the MSFT FUD that has since been taken off the MSFT site after NOVL Legal counsel notified MSFT of the untruths on the page. novell.com The Novell Page that introduces the above page says the following: Rebuttal to false Microsoft claims regarding Netware and NDS in December, Microsoft published on its Web site and circulated to resellers an article entitled, "Windows 2000 Server: A Prime Choice over Novell's Netware 5.0". The article contained a series of false statements about Netware and NDS, and Novell notified Microsoft through legal counsel of these inaccuracies. While the article has since been removed, click here for a step-by-step rebuttal of Microsoft's allegations [.pdf file]. Scott, it looks like if MSFT was legally not in the wrong, they didn't have the guts to fight NOVL on their stance of being technically accurate. Cheers ppl! Toy
