Yaacov, I have been far from confident about the price of Dell's stock over the past few months, however, I am HIGHLY confident in the company. This is not a good position to be in because it creates the kind of uncertainty which can result in poor investment decisions. PERSONALLY I believe those entities that are moving out of DELL are because of the lack of interest in the stock as the best vehicle to make money in. If the general consensus of the buying market toward a stock is marginal, then the price movement will be the same. I also believe Dell (the stock) will make a nice comeback but I don't feel it will be in the next few weeks/months.

All that being said I have not heard of a single downgrade or a compelling reason for the stock to linger as it has. 1999 was a very frustrating year...major contributions to that frustration were a result of things not relative to the Dell business plan or their execution of it.

Personally I sold all but a 1,000 shares. IF it continues to dip and would cross the $40/share line I probably will buy more back.

Tom

Re: "Today several major financial insititutes in Switzerland dumped Dell, real fast! I know first hand that these banks are among major insitutional share-holders of Dell. I ask myself do they know something that we don't? gg"

If this is true it could be an indication that Dell's European business is in trouble. Didn't Dell hire a new head over there first part of last year?
