Mary,

They could start by learning some customer service as well.

The vitriol in the GTW announcement was pretty self evident.

There are always 2 sides in a spat, and i am sure GTW was guilty of under ordering etc.

But Intel management didn't appear to handle this very well.

If you were gonna buy some inter services from somebody is this kind of customer attitude acceptable.

regards,

Kash

Mary, re: "Even poor old Ted Turner - he projected energy and a willingness to be part of a team and a culture that he has no understanding."

I don't know that I would underestimate Mr. Turner, he's managed to accomplish quite a few business miracles in his life. And he sure ain't "poor".

Mary - <Intel management has to loosen up. Explain to us what they plan to do in plain language. Pretend to be in control of the situation. Achieve what they plan to do - clear and simple.>

I'll preface my one word comment by stating that not all of the Executive Staff fits the following category, but still....

Engineers

Actually one of the key reasons why i am STILL long in Intel is that I trust their management.

In contrast, I have difficulty to understand the subtle difference between " Pretending to be in control of the situation" and slinging BS.

What's the difference between the AOL "dot-com-dollars" and the Weimar republic deutschemark ?
