Leedm - to your questions:

1. I don't think so, but I would call Wit Capital for a definitive answer. They generally send notices to shareholder through their specific brokerage firms and I don't know how you set up your 401k.

2. Wit requires that the account be funded with a minimum deposit when opened. I believe that minimum is $2,000.
