Goldberg was being very careful with his answers. must have been heavily briefed by lawyers. Mentioned that ERICY lawsuit was proceding, did not venture an opinion. When asked about the value of IDC's patents for G-3 and whether QCOM would have to use them, he said that there were several companies with patents and hard to describe value to them. Did refer to one of IDC's patents as being essential for G-3. Did not comment when asked about IDC's being called the next QCOM. this is as good as i can recall.
