Merger mania continues....

Newzwire Jan 10 3:03pm - VA Linux Systems acquires General Motors

Larry Augustine, CEO of VA Linux Systems (DUNG:LNUX) announced today that VA will acquire General Motors in a $4.6 trillion deal involving stock, convertible debt, handwritten IOUs and Pokemon trading cards.

Augustine commented on the merger by shrugging and saying "Hell, it's only paper."

In related news, RedHat Linux, Inc (DUNG:RHAT) has announced that it will be issuing it's own currency to compete with the Federal Reserve. The new "LinuxBucks" will allow consumers to freely copy and distribute LinuxBucks as needed for purchases. The new currency is seen as a more stable alternative to the rapidly increasing supply of US Dollars.
