all the more reason I am glad I went with Dell, I don't buy from no stinkin' AMD using boxmaker.

Hope Dell never jumps ship.

Paul,

gateway has every right to choose its suppliers.

As i recall the "dumping of AMD" was NOT announced publicly.

I don't recall the president of GTW saying they were pissed off with AMD in a public forum.

In fact GTW seemed to go out of its way and stated that they eveluate vendors from time to time etc.
