As a small technical footnote on cree, it is highly unusual to bring out earnings 3 days after the close of a quarter and also quite unusual to do an spo 9 months after a previous one and with 38m in cash in the bank. cree needs the capital IMHO for a major joint venture to ramp up one or more of it's product lines. expect the spo to close within a week or two and a major announcement with two or three IMHO...this is a company in a great hurry and it is for a very important reason. i am not hyping the stock here...but i know the company and it's management reasonably well and the unusual behavior i allude to portends that it may be jumping the chasm into the tornado in a matter of weeks or months...
