Um, on this planet, you can put a stop loss order on almost anything. If you mean the stop losses didn't show up on the quote charts, that's true enough. But at least some of the midmorning downward spike may well have been a "long squeeze" of successive stop loss orders getting triggered. It happens.

But most of it sure looked like someone big wanting out.
