You my friend are the worst kind of investor out there. Why don't you do yourself a favor and call the company the next time you get your panties in a wad and find out what is going on for yourself instead of crying in your spilt milk? If you had, maybe Cal would have told you that there was no leak at ANCR. He would have also told you that Mr. Kumar has quite a few friends in the industry and made one hell of a good educated guess. And since I called Cal on Friday and he returned my call on a Saturday, it's my best educated guess that he spent all weekend coming up with their best educated guess on earnings since they haven't even figured them out yet. (All so they could put them out in a press release on Monday) Would he have preferred it if Mr. Kumar had not put his guesstimate out to the rest of the world? You bet. But you can't control the whole world, only your little section of it. Have they changed their revenue recognition policy? Have they changed it in their SEC filings? I haven't seen any change. Has anything changed with SUNW or INTC? No. Has he been in contact with his counterparts at those companies? Yes. Are they worried about anything? No. The reality here is the stock was ahead of itself and needed to pullback to move forward. Did it give Herbie more ammunition for his shorting buddies and a loud mouth boss (who buy the way owns BRCD)? You bet. But as Cal put it to me after I grilled him for « hour, "You tell me, what could we have possibly done any different?" Hmm, well Cal I don't know after all you've just told me. FYI, they expect to release earnings on the 27th and have a conference call on the 28th. If you really have any questions, why don't you write them down and ask him yourself then? -Who
