Charles..I don't agree...it could be as simple as a .002 miss on EPS (.203 vs .205...which can be rounded to .21).

The former..they don't make the number...the latter they don't...

.002 can not be easily predicted, nor assumed (with 3 weeks left in the quarter)...The best Dell can do, at this pt., is say that they are "on plan" or "under plan"....

Charles, If by now Dell doesn't have a pretty good idea of what their numbers will be within days after a quarter ends, then that
doesn't speak very highly of their management information systems.


Dell's quarter ends 1E (end January).

Tony
