I don't think so. Clinton brought the Presidency, and his party, into disrepute. Too much hinges on the next election. If it is a Republican triumph, then Clinton was a bad president. His only hope is keep the White House, and that may not be enough if his successor is as paralyzed as he has been......

UK News: Government accused over claims of flu 'epidemic'

AMERICA found itself flat on its back with flu yesterday. Hospitals in most big cities were reported to be cancelling routine or scheduled operations because of the virus.
Influenza A/Sydney/5/97-like(H3N2) has swept eastwards from California in the past two weeks and is now affecting almost the whole country. According to some accounts it is already at epidemic levels.
