THIS IS GOOD NEWS!

" which offer workers the opportunity to buy Microsoft stock at a 15 percent discount. The plans were not extended to temporary and contract workers "

THIS IS GOOD NEWS!

SPREAD THE WEALTH.

SPREAD THE OWNERSHIP OF MSFT AMONG THE TEEMING MASSES.

15% IS NO big DEAL, Billy Boy.

Love,

Abbigail

''Microsoft has abused its immense power to cheat a large faction of its own workers out of the most basic benefits,'' said Elizabeth Spokoiny, one of the original plaintiffs.

''It will be a great relief to finally end this case and be able to say American high-tech workers will not tolerate exploitation,'' she said.

Excuse me, but am I missing something here? Temporary employees KNEW what their wages and benefits would be when they took the job. If they didn't like it, they shouldn't have taken the job in the first place. I used to work for a temporary agency and voluntarily accepted reduced benefits in exchange for greater flexibility in scheduling and hours worked. It was my own choice.

What the hell is happening to the concept of personal responsibility in this country? Frivolous litigation is getting out of control. Trial lawyers are feasting on the blood of American business. The judicial branch of government is becoming as rotten as the executive and legislative branches. It's time for some meaningful changes, IMO.

That is good news for permanent employee. As the cost of temporary employee getting higher as a result of this rulling, No companies will hire temporary employee, this means some temporary employee will lose their jobs and harder to find a job in the temporary job market !!!
