KG, we may be one of the few wise people today :-) I just don't understand why they don't GET IT. Three to four years ago we had an upstart with attitude. Two years ago we had the recognized leading ISP. A year ago we had the leading internet aggregator and consumer e-commerce site. This year we have the first IP-based powerhouse that can deliver rich interactive multimedia content through every major channel; cable, wireless, DSL, narrow band.

Those investors that just keep chasing 100% year over year earnings increase in the nutz will learn a hard lesson one of these days.

By the time the street figures this one out, and the other internets scramble to try to put together similar deals, AOL will extend its already large lead.

In the meantime, I'm happy it's going to take a while for them to figure this out, I can accumulate more, not just AOL but through TWX as well.

I still remember how the street hestitated for so long over whether AOL could digest Netscape. By the time they figured that one out AOL had split twice and joined the S&P. I wonder where it will be a year from now?
