And one could also add in the fact that server sales/margins have cratered, and this is where Intel hoped to maintain its margins. Yuk.

Like you, I can't conceive of a scenario where Intel had a decent quarter unless the accounting has become even more "aggressive", or they had a larger sack full of net stocks that got sold across the Christmas peak than I estimated.

MB, Got intc feb80 puts for a song today. Also see that Tad's bucking the trend. Has intc a hold and amd a strong buy. <g>
