The mfr of the key chain assy is LRI (Laughing Rabbit Inc). The mfr told me they are Nichia LEDs, and that Cree's are much less intense. I bought Cree stock anyway. I am wondering if anyone has any other view on this. Any measurements of intensity, or any specs?

Cree has closed the brightness gap. CREE's new LEDs are equivalent brightness.
