Mani,

Pretty interesting conference at end of month.

Focus seems to be AMD and DDR.

Is anybody going to this.

It would be good one of the CPU techies went and updated us all.

regards,

Kash

The Pionex Elite desktop systems, using the same AMD Athlon processors, range in price from $1,069 to $1,999."

Mani,

<HP might happen earlier >

VIA announced that it has 20 motherboard makes signed up for KX133. I would say that should pretty much assure HP and a several other OEMs for Q1/Q2. We are probably going to see a continuous stream of OEMs once VIA pumps up volumes on the KX133.

Mani & Thread,

<Up to 800 MHz!, nice. Note that "Pionex Elite's Web site" is for corporation only, no consumer in this space>

Pionex seems to have a nice line of Workstation products. Since this segment looks for the highest performance AMD may have an opportunity here to supply some 800MHz chips as Intel begins its ramp.
Does anyone know who are the other OEMS who focus on the Workstation segment?

Chuck
