That sounds great. Unlike the regular network which is a pure overhead, the potential for voip phone system is very high since the saving to corporation is immediate. The date when compnay like lu and nt can charge you an arm and a leg is gone.

As to the Xerox suit, I think it doesn't amount to too much. Xerox has no past, current or future products using the "unistroke" inputing system so no damages can be proven. Just like the 56K patent with that Townsend guy, technology like this dosen't amount to much money - $10 millions to settle out of court - maybe.

Thanks for the post.. but well, even the staunchest 3Com bulls are smart enough to know that COMS is not the only company shipping IP telephony products targeted at the enterprise. This study and the subsequent press is a joke. Sorry... I can't think of a nice way to put it... it's flat out wrong.
