Are you thinking of having a wakeup-call sent to the vehicle through G* every five minutes or so? You know, because Globalstar has position capabilities the gateways could call the phone to wake up the driver when approaching towns or cities on major highways. On more serious notes, tracking positions in emergency situations is maybe the most important application for G* in the automotive industry. Think of all the rental cars around the world! I would love to see G* and satellite radio (Sirius, XM) put into one package placed with GPS on any car. I added CDRD into my portfolio recently when I learned their potential. Thomas L
