Incorrect (though I guess I don't really know what you mean by an integrated communications system). e.g 'phones come badged as Ford. They are an integral part of the car design. They are removable from the car. While in the car, they operate with a handsfree system. GPS is also available.

The same goes for Toyota. Several years ago I saw a development 'mule'
which had an integrated GPS navigation system with 'phone up at Denso in San Diego. The lucky employees were field testing it in their company cars. The technology was GSM (via Pacific Bell).
