Aol/Time Warner (specifically Case)won't ignore a wireless strategy. They want that content out there.

AOL/TWX is not about cable, or wireless, or any other delivery method. It is about providing interactive content and e-commerce through every available comm medium. Cable is obvious, and that is where AOL TV plugs in. AOL Anywhere is their wireless concept, and to provide multimedia interactivity, that will perform best with HDR and CDMA protocols. I see this merger as a positive for QCOM.
